Perspective Shadow
Here is an example of what we will be making.

I used a character in this tutorial, however you can use text or any image you want.

Pre-prep: I used this picture of a Druid from Diablo II, Click here to download the image.

1. Make a new doccument, any size.

2. Insert your character on a new layer.
 a. Duplicate the character layer. Title it Shadow.
 b. Image > Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast
 Screen Shot
 c. Place the Shadow layer under the character layer.

3. Select the Shadow layer.
 a. Edit > Transform > Perspective - Grab the top center square and drag it to either side, in this case to the left.
 Screen Shot
 b. Edit > Transform > Distort - Again, grab the top center square, this time drag it straight down. Try to keep it as straight as possible.
 Screen Shot

4. Line it up.
 a. You may have to re-align the Shadow layer with the character layer. Just nudge it over until the bottom is lined up correctly.

5. Opacity.
 a. Select the Shadow layer and sent the opacity to 30 percent.
 Screen Shot

6. File > Save

Finished!

I'll start marking which ones have been submitted. So far, every tutorial except 3D Text (which is already on GT [sketchi.org]) has been submitted.
