Introduction:

Learn how to create a reflection of virtually any image.

1. Open your canvas and find the image you would like to use. (I chose a picture of the Xbox 360)

2.  Now make a copy of this layer by pressing the new layer button or by pressing “Ctrl” and “J” on your keyboard.

3. After you have made a copy of the layer, drag the 2^nd image down underneath the original image.

4. Now go to Edit – Transform- Flip Vertical.

5. Click on the gradient tool in the tool box.

6. With your foreground color as white (#FFFFFF), change the gradient to Foreground to Transparent.

7. Now Ctrl – Click on the image of the layer containing the 2^nd (flipped) image.

8. Drag the Gradient tool (within the selection) from bottom to the top of the selection.

9. Repeat step 8 until you are satisfied with the result. This is what I got:

See? Wasn't that simple? If you follow the steps carefully you should end up with the same result, if not better!
